About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pre-Sales Business Analyst (BA) to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth by providing technical and domain expertise to our sales team, and ensuring our solutions meet the needs of healthcare payer claims clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare payer claims, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for driving business success.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions.

  • Assist in the preparation of sales proposals, presentations, and demonstrations.

  • Conduct detailed product demonstrations, highlighting features and benefits relevant to client needs.

Requirement Analysis:

  • Gather and document client requirements through workshops, interviews, and research.

  • Analyze and interpret business needs to translate them into functional and technical specifications.

  • Work closely with product management and development teams to ensure solutions align with client requirements.

Solution Design:

  • Develop and present detailed solution designs to clients, showcasing how our products meet their needs.

  • Create high-level design documents and diagrams to communicate solutions effectively.

  • Provide technical expertise in RFP/RFI responses.

Market and Product Knowledge:

  • Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, as well as industry trends and competitor offerings.

  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and advancements in healthcare payer claims processing.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, product management, and development.

  • Participate in strategy sessions to align sales activities with business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pre-sales or business analyst role within the healthcare payer claims sector.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare payer claims processes and systems.

  • Proven track record of supporting sales teams and driving business growth.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with healthcare payer claims management systems and software.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards in healthcare claims processing.
